The Prime Minister also narrated two defining moments from the Vice President’s life: his near-drowning incident in childhood and his survival during a deadly blast ahead of an Advani rally. Modi also shared a lesser-known personal insight—how the Vice President gave up non-vegetarian food after visiting Kashi, inspired by a spiritual awakening. Calling him a symbol of service, discipline, and courage, the Prime Minister said his leadership as Chairman of the Rajya Sabha will guide the nation.
