Breaking News: Massive Cache of Illegal Weapons Recovered from Malihabad House During Police Raid | ABP NEWS

ABP News Bureau   |  27 Jun 2025 01:30 PM (IST)

In a late-night operation around 7:30 PM, heavy police forces from three different stations conducted a surprise raid in the Malihabad area of Uttar Pradesh. The targeted house, belonging to a man named Salahuddin, is located just 200-300 meters from the Malihabad police station on a narrow and densely populated street. During the raid, which continued until nearly 11 PM, authorities uncovered a massive cache of illegal weapons. While police officials initially remained tight-lipped about the details, sources confirmed that around 17 bags were filled with illegal arms and ammunition recovered from the premises. The recovered cache reportedly includes 312 bore and 315 bore rifles, double-barrel guns, modern pistols, and a significant number of cartridges. The size of the house, approximately 100 square feet, shocked locals as it became the center of one of the biggest arms seizures in recent times in the region. The house has since been sealed, and police are continuing their investigation into the source and intended use of the weapons. Further arrests and charges are expected as authorities dig deeper into the network possibly involved in arms trafficking.
