Acharya Pramod Krishnam has stirred a major political debate with his sharp remarks against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while extending praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the media, Krishnam criticized Rahul Gandhi’s past slogans such as “Chowkidar Chor,” “Rafale Chor,” and “Gaddi Chor,” stating that all of them eventually fell flat and were outright rejected by the people of India. He added that these slogans lacked substance and failed to connect with the masses. In a strong personal attack, Krishnam alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s repeated statements have begun to resemble the behavior of a “joker,” claiming they often embarrass India on the global stage. He argued that Rahul’s style of politics has lost credibility among the electorate. On the other hand, Krishnam hailed Prime Minister Modi as a leader for all states, asserting that Modi does not discriminate and works in the interest of the entire nation. He further emphasized India’s cultural foundation, calling the country a Sanatan Rashtra and describing India and Sanatan Dharma as complementary to each other. The statement is being seen as both an endorsement of Modi’s leadership and a stinging critique of Rahul Gandhi, sparking strong reactions across political circles.
