Bihar Elections 2020: Voting begins for first phase

Voting has started for the first phase of Bihar elections. In total 71 assembly seats, the fate of 1066 candidates will be locked in EVMs today. After long election campaign, big promises and claims, today it is the turn of the people.
The fate of 1066 candidates is to be decided in the first phase. Out of these 71 seats, JDU is fighting on 35, BJP 29, Manjhi's HAM 6 and VIP-1 seats. While RJD 42, Congress 21 and Left have fielded candidates for 8 seats.
