Bihar elections 2020: Gupteshwar Pandey does not get ticket from JDU

JDU has not given a ticket to former state DGP Gupteshwar Pandey in the Bihar assembly elections. Pandey recently left the post of DGP and joined JDU. Since then, there was speculation that he will contest the assembly elections from the Buxar seat.

The Buxar seat has gone to the BJP's account under the alliance agreement. BJP has nominated Parashuram Chaturvedi as the candidate for this seat.
