Bihar Election Result 2025: JDU Office Celebrates As NDA Tsunami Sweeps Past 190 Seats

ABP News Bureau   |  14 Nov 2025 12:23 PM (IST)

Celebrations have erupted at the JDU headquarters as NDA crosses the 190-seat mark in the Bihar Election Result 2025, signalling a powerful mandate for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dual-engine governance model. Firecrackers, conch-shells, and traditional rituals marked the atmosphere, reflecting confidence reminiscent of the NDA’s 2010 performance when it secured 206 seats. This year’s tally shows BJP at 87, JDU at 75, and LJP(R) at 22, while the Mahagathbandhan struggles near the 50-seat range. Analysts point to the absence of Lalu Prasad Yadav, internal divisions, and allegations of disproportionate influence of aides like Sanjay Yadav within the RJD. In contrast, the BJP’s organisational strength, Amit Shah’s cadre mobilisation, and Modi’s popularity appear to have unified voter blocs across caste, rural belts, and youth demographics. The mandate underscores widespread support for stability, delivery of central funds, and visible development across districts.
