RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das made several announcements in a press conference, including reduction of repo rate by 40 basis points and at the same time, predicted a negative GDP growth rate. Speaking to ABP News, business journalist Kumardeep said that the RBI wants to make it easier for banks to provide loans and at the same time, he has also increased the moratorium on current loans.
