Bengaluru: Deserted mosques amid Friday prayers due to corona

In unprecedented scenes, mosques across Bengaluru were deserted on Friday, with the faithful praying at home to contain the spread of Covid-19. Muslim clerics called on their followers asking them to offer the Juma namaz at home and desist from visiting mosques in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.  The board advised people to stay at home and avoid congregating.
