The first solar eclipse of the year is going to be on Sunday. This solar eclipse will be annular in which the sun will be seen shining for some time in the sky. The special thing about this solar eclipse is that it will be annular, in which the moon will cover most of the sun. 

It is believed that during this period is inauspicious, hence there is no worship or any auspicious work in temples.
