Director Anurag Kashyap has commented sarcastically over the arrest and suspension of Davinder Singh. He tweeted and asked why there was such a lull over Davinder Singh. He further wrote, "Kahan Gaye Deshdrohiyon Ki Pehchaan Karne Waale? Aur Halla Machane Wale?"
