Fare hike no issue, but services must improve: Train commuters

Indian Railways has increased the passenger fares, which came into effect from today. The ministry said that the increased fare will help in modernisation of the Indian Railways. The fare of ordinary non-ac classes have been increased by 1 paise per kilometre while fare has been hiked by 4 paise per kilometre in ac class. While speaking to ABP News, the train commuters said that although they have no problem with the hike in the charges, the authorities must ensure that the services and facilities should also be improved with the rising fares.
