Coronavirus cases in India crosses 3 lakh-mark

India reported 3,14,835 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours which is a new record for the country making it the world's highest daily spike recorded so far. 2,104 deaths and 1,78,841 discharges were also reported in the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry. Meanwhile, vaccinations in total has been done so far 13,23,30,644.
