On India's 76th Independence Day celebration, it is being reported that Beating Retreat ceremony is underway at the Attari-Wagah border near Amritsar in Punjab on the occasion of Independence Day. This ritual has been a daily military exercise for India's Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers since 1959. As per sources, a large crowd has gathered at the Attari-Wagah border just before the beating retreat ceremony and are hoisting the Indian National flag.
