AMU to deploy additional police force after JNU incident

Uttar Pradesh has been put on high alert after the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) witnessed a night of violence. The additional police force will be deployed in many Universities including Aligarh Muslim University in the wake of the JNU violence. On Sunday night, several masked individuals, both male and female, thrashed students, including girls, and teachers inside the JNU campus with wooden and metal rods, injuring many.
