Protests are taking place countrywide. Students in UP, Bihar and West Bengal are protesting against the Agnipath scheme. The protestors are setting trains on fire and ransacking train stations to oppose the scheme.
The Agnipath scheme was introduced by the Ministry of Defence to encourage enrolment of the youth in the Armed Forces of India.
