The suicide by a debt-ridden farmer in Rajasthan, allegedly after a sub-divisional magistrate issued orders to auction his land, took a political colour on Monday with Congress asking chief minister Vasundhara Raje to explain what “gaurav (pride)” was she talking about during her ongoing Gaurav Yatra.
