Malviya Nagar's rubber factory still burning, choppers being used to control the fire

A massive fire broke out in a rubber factory in Delhi's Malviya Nagar.
A dense plume of smoke billowed from a burning truck and the godown in Khirki Extension area causing panic among locals. Then police evacuated the area to ensure the safety of the people living near the godown.
As many as 80 fire engines have been deployed to contain the fire since last evening. Firefighters have been struggling for over 12 hours to contain the fire. The Indian Air Force has launched a Mi 17 helicopter for Bambi operations from PALAM to try and contain the fire at the godown.
