CM Kejriwal’s Sugar Level Repeatedly Approaching 50: Know Its Adverse Effects | Health LIVE

ABP Live   |  27 Jul 2024 01:14 PM (IST)

According to health experts, for individuals with diabetes, a low blood sugar level is defined as a reading of less than 80 mg/dL. If blood sugar levels fall below 40 mg/dL, it is considered extremely serious and potentially dangerous. Such a severe drop in blood sugar can lead to significant health complications. If an individual's blood sugar remains at this critically low level for several hours, there is a heightened risk of them going into a coma. Prolonged periods of very low blood sugar can impair brain function, leading to confusion, dizziness, and in severe cases, loss of consciousness. It is crucial for individuals with diabetes to regularly monitor their blood sugar levels and seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms of hypoglycemia or if their blood sugar levels drop dangerously low.
