Has Amit Shah been asked to change his surname?

It has come forth that Amit Shah's surname is Persian word. It is not a part of Sanskrit. This was said by a historian Irfan Habib. He further suggested that Amit Shah hence should change his name first and then go for changing the names of the states in India.
