Gupt Navratris are primarily meant for sadhaks and those performing special, powerful tantrik rituals for Shatkarma Tantrik Prayog like Shantikaran, Vashikaran, Uchatan, Videshan, Stambhan and Maran.
During these auspicious days, ardent prayers are offered to Goddess Durga to seek her blessings. Along with Shri Durgasaptshati, Shrimad-Devi Bhagwat, Devi Mahatmya and other texts invoking Goddess Durga are also recited during these nine days.
