Aviation watchdog DGCA Wednesday said operations at the nine airports, which were shut earlier in the day, have resumed "as of now".
A spokesperson of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said, "As of now, ops to these airports resumed.
Ministry of External Affairs today holded press conference in which it said, "One Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by Indian Air Force. In this aerial engagement we have lost one MiG 21, the pilot is missing in action. Pakistan has claimed he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts."
