Abhishek Banerjee, the second-ranking member of the Trinamool Congress, stated on Wednesday that it was ironic that while BJP leaders were campaigning for 30 seats in West Bengal and forecasting the fall of the Mamata Banerjee government, media outlets were now questioning whether the NDA government would hold on.

The second-time Lok Sabha candidate from Diamond Harbour, Abhishek Banerjee, took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party at the airport in Kolkata before heading to Delhi to attend the INDIA bloc meeting. Abhishek responded, "The answer lies in the question," when asked if the National Democratic Alliance will be able to create a government in the center.
