First Phase Elections: Ground report from Bengal's East Midnapore & Assam's Nagaon

Watch the ground report from West Bengal's East Midnapore & Assam's Nagaon where the first phase of elections is underway. Voters in West Bengal and Assam were found queuing up in large numbers outside polling stations across the 30 assembly constituencies. 

More than 73 lakh voters will exercise their franchise polling for 30 seats with 191 candidates in the fray. Of the five assembly elections, West Bengal has the maximum number of seats and highest phases staggered into eight.
