Dantewada: Huge voters turn out, a befitting reply to Naxalism

Voting in Chhattisgarh's Bastar seat in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections is being held as per schedule. BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi, his driver and three personal security officers were killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off in Kuakonda area, a forested part of Dantewada district. The stage is set for the first phase of polling Thursday in seven Lok Sabha seats in 91 Lok Sabha constituencies across 20 states and Union Territories.
