Petrol, Diesel smuggling begins at Indo-Nepal border

Rising oil prices have made smugglers active once again in the region. Petrol-diesel is being smuggled from the border in areas adjacent to Nepal since fuel is cheaper in Nepal than India. Now, Nepal Oil Corporation has issued new guidelines to the petrol pumps in the border areas.

Petrol continues to be priced at Rs 90.58 a litre and diesel Rs 80.97 a litre in the national capital.
