Kasganj Custodial Death: What is the truth?

22-year-old, Altaf, was detained over a case of missing minor in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Altaf was found dead at a police station on Tuesday and his death caused a stir politically. Kotwali Police station's five officials, including SHO, were suspended post the custodial death.

SSP Rohan Pramod Botre explained the incident and told that Altaf hung himself with a string from his jacket's hood. The youngster used the water pipe in a toilet, which is 2 feet above the ground, to do so.

The police's version of death has become the reason behind multiple doubts and questions of the opposition parties. 

On the other hand, the family is alleging murder. What is the truth?
