Congress leader Raj Babbar attends Iftar party in Kashi

Congress leader Raj Babbar on Thursady attened a Iftar party in Varanasi. Babbar was initially nominated from Moradabad, but the party later changed his seat to Fatehpur Sikri.
Raj Babbar seemed confident of Congress' win.
Congress' Ajay Rai is fielded against PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi. Rai had contested in Varanasi against Modi and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in 2014 as well. Back then, Modi had secured 5,81,022 votes as opposed to Kejriwal’s 2,09,238. Rai had only managed 75,614 votes.
