Actor Sunny Deol may join Bharatiya Janata Party

It is being speculated that actor Sunny Deol may join Bharatiya Janata Party soon. It is also being said that he would contest elections from Punjab's Gurdaspur.
Polling began in the third phase of ongoing elections began on Tuesday, April 23, in as many as 117 Lok Sabha constituencies spread across 13 states and 2 Union Territories. Among the key contestants in the fray are BJP chief Amit Shah (Gandhinagar, Gujarat), Congress president Rahul Gandhi (Wayanad, Kerala), and Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav (Mainpuri, UP).
