7 killed in stampede in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli

A stampede ocurred during a temple festival which killed seven people and injured ten others. The incident took place on Sunday near Thuraiyur which is about 45 kilometres from Tiruchirappalli. People had gathered for the ceremony called 'padikasu' aka temple coin distribution
