Govt Asks Court To Block Chinese Apps From Challenging Its Ban Order

Days After India directed blocking of 59 Chinese apps, the Centre has now reportedly moved Rajasthan High Court to stop any of the banned mobile application from challenging its interim order.  The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on June 30 banned 59 Chinese apps like TikTok, WeChat, UC Browser and Xiaomi''s Mi Community over national security concerns as India-China bilateral relations remain strained after the death of 20 Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley clash with Chinese PLA troops in eastern Ladakh.
