Ban On 59 Chinese Apps Temporary Or Permanent?

India has banned 59 Chinese apps for engaging in activities which are "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity" of the country. Besides popular short-video app TikTok, the banned applications include SHAREit, Helo, WeChat, UC Browser and Xiaomi's Mi Community, among others. However, questions that boggle the minds of smartphone users are: whether this ban is temporary or permanent and what will happen to their data on these apps.
