Positive news for India’s coronavirus vaccine

After a long wait, there is finally some good news regarding Covid 19 vaccine in India. RDIF, the company producing Russia's Covid 19 vaccine Sputnik V has inked a deal with India's Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories to supply about 100 million vaccine doses. In a report by PTI, the CEO of RDIF said, "Russia’s RDIF is collaborating with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for clinical trials and delivery of the Sputnik V vaccine. He added, "talks are ongoing with Indian regulatory officials for the requirements of the clinical trials."
