Cleanliness and hygiene are the two things that our country has been thriving to improve. And though many of us these days talk about keeping our surrounding clean, there are very few people who actually practice what they preach. Several citizens are still seen littering roads and public transport, ignoring the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan initiated by the Centre. However, a video of a young boy travelling in a Delhi metro and cleaning its floor after he spilled some food raises hope of the younger generation being more conscious about issues related to cleanliness and hygiene.
The photo shared by Ashu Singh on his LinkedIn profile shows how the student cleaned the floor of a Delhi metro after his tiffin box mistakenly spilled.
According to the post, the boy was trying to take out a water bottle from his bag when his lunch box fell and the food in it spilled on to the floor. The boy immediately tore a page from his notebook and picked up the food. He then took out his handkerchief and cleaned the floor where he had spilled the food.
