Sudha Murthy, who appeared on the comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show along with Guneet Monga and actor Raveena Tandon, talked about her first meeting with husband Narayana Murthy.

Author-philanthropist Sudha Murthy, who appeared on the comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, talked about her first meeting with husband Narayana Murthy and said that when she first heard about him she thought he would look as handsome and dashing as a film hero. “I thought he would look as handsome and dashing as a film hero but when he opened the door I was like who is this small child?, Murthy said. On the show, she also spoke about hearing Narayana Murthy's name for the first time. She said that after hearing his name for the first time, she thought he is an ‘International bus conductor.’

“I had a friend named Prasanna, and he was my colleague in Telco. We use to go to work everyday by bus. And every day he took a book, in each book it was Narayana Murthy Istanbul, Narayana Murthy Peshawar, Narayana Murthy Paris. I thought is this Narayana Murthy International bus conductor?,” she said.

Murthy also went on to talk about Narayana Murthy’s weight. She said, “Narayana Murthy has the same weight now that he had when we got married). Because I am a bad cook, my husband has maintained his weight.”

Sudha Murthy appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show along with Guneet Monga and actor Raveena Tandon. Her hilarious responses to Kapil’s questions left people in splits. NR Narayana Murthy is the co-founder of Infosys. Sudha Murthy was recently conferred with the Padma Bhushan for her contribution to social work. The couple tied the knot in 1978.
