New Delhi: In an age when digital payment is the new fad, Unified Payments Interface or UPI, such as Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe have taken over the currency note transactions. In this era of ‘digital India’, a wedding video, showing the invitees paying the drummers through Paytm, has gone viral on the social media.


The video, posted by Suman Rastogi on her Twitter handle, shows a person dancing to the music at a wedding procession and paying the drummer through Paytm by scanning the bar code on the ‘dhol’.


The video, posted with the caption ‘How to use the technology, only Indians knew very well,’ has garnered over 6,000 likes and have got over 250k views so far.






The video has gone viral with netizens posting funny comments to the post.
