Noida News: A resident of a prominent housing society in Noida was injured after a violent altercation broke out between security guards and residents after a dispute over parking space. The incident occurred at Gardenia Glory Society in Sector 46 of Uttar Pradesh Noida.


A video of the incident went viral on social media, where a man can be seen engaged in a scuffle with a security guard, while several other men are trying to disentangle them. After a few seconds, another man in a black shirt approached the fighting men and assaulted the society resident with a stick. The guard can then be seen taking the wooden stick from the other man and he keeps assaulting the resident. 






As per local media reports, the police have initiated a probe based on the complaint lodged by the injured resident. 


The injured resident was identified as Navneet Yadav. As per his complaint, the confrontation happened on Thursday when he was discussing parking arrangements with his friend at Gate No. 2 of the society, according to a report by The Vocal News.


Yadav claimed that one of the security guards demanded Rs 5,000 per month for parking, and when he opposed the demand, the guard along with his colleague started abusing him. The two guards then physically assaulted him with sticks, and allegedly also snatched his chain. 


Yadav reportedly sustained injuries during the altercation and later filed a police complaint, seeking appropriate action against the accused guards. So far, police have reportedly registered the case and arrested one of the accused guards involved in the incident.


The clash has once again raised concerns about safety and security within gated communities.
