A man's comparison of working from home with Korean survival drama 'Squid Game' has gone viral on social media. But the Internet is divided over the comment as some users relate with him, while others blasted him for being ungrateful.

"WFH is a dream when you've got your own cozy little apartment in a city like Bangalore, Mumbai, or even Delhi, especially with your partner by your side. But WFH while living with your parents? That’s a whole new level of Squid Game," the man wrote on X.

Some people on social media said they could feel what the man said. A user commented, "Bhai I am dealing with that! Ghar pe construction wala kaam chal raha hai." Another wrote, "bg music will be like 'jara ek glass pani dena beta, fan off krdo, ek cup chai bana de."

"I understand you totally. I do WFH too and my father comes in the middle of long calls to say loudly "unko bol do ghar PE kaam hai..baad meing baat karenge," another person said.

Several people criticised the man for being "ungrateful" for the opportunity to live with his parents. "Kind of blessing tbh, your parents are already in early or mid 60's when you land a job so it's bonus that you get to spend time with them as they don't have much time left," a man wrote.

A user said, "Ungrateful millennials. Being and staying with parents is a luxury not many understand." Another person asked him to not "demonize" his parents just to look cool on social media. "Please don't demonize your parents just to appear cool on social media. It's because of their sacrifices that you have the luxury of having the skills of wfh and also that a partner has liked you. Parents are not your buddies, respect them and treat them with dignity, please," he said.
