But a video of a woman has gone viral on the internet in which she can be seen eating a bar of 'soap'. Shared on Instagram by Suchi Dutta, who is a home baker from Kolkata, the video shows her take a bite of what seems to be an ordinary bar of soap, and relishing it. But as the clip progresses, there is a surprising twist - the bar is not a real soap but a hyper-realistic cake designed to look like a soap bar.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Suchi wrote, "I love eating soap." The clip opens to show her holding a bottle of Dettol handwash in one hand and a 'soap bar' in another, with a text overlay reading, "Which one tastes better?". Towards the end of the video it is revealed that the bar is actually a hyperrealist cake. A text insert also reads, "Because mine is a cake and the case in chocolate."
Since being shared, the video has amassed 135,861 likes and tons of comments.
