Monkeys are one of the most intelligent animals around. A video that has gone insanely viral proves the fact as a monkey can be seen saving a kitten stuck in an abandoned muddy well. The primate is seen making all possible efforts to save the baby covered in mud and trying to make its way out of the well.

The video opens to show a monkey inside an abandoned muddy well trying to rescue a kitten. The primate tries very hard but fails to rescue the kitten. In the end, a woman finally gets down into the well and rescues the kitten. After it is rescued, the monkey tightly hugs the kitten and keeps stroking it out of love.
Since being shared, the video has garnered close to a whopping 9 million views, 137.6k likes and several comments.
