An Indian man stopped 57 electric fan blades using his tongue in under one minute and set a Guinness World Record (GWR). Kranthi Kumar Panikera ‘DrillMan’ set the record on February 2, 2024, on the set of Lo Show Dei Record, in Milan, Italy.


After his achievement, DrillMan was overcome with emotion as he held up his certificate and medal.


Now, the video became viral after the Guinness World Record shared the video on Thursday on its X handle. The video has received over 18 million views and over 3,000 comments.






In the video, Kranthi Kumar Panikera is standing in front of a row of fast-spinning fans and with lightning-fast precision he stops 57 fan blades using his tongue.


Netizens were divided some thought it was a major achievement, while others believed it to be odd and questioned the relevance of such feats.

Kranthi Kumar Panikera, a resident of Suryapet, Telangana, is known for his unique and daring acts. According to a News18 report, he initially aspired to become an IAS officer but shifted his focus to showcasing his talents worldwide, performing in Malaysia, Singapore, and the US. After his appearance on India’s Got Talent, he was referred to America’s Got Talent. 


He said was interested in practising such acts since his school days, because he wanted to be recognised for something unique. With over 300 stage and television performances, he has left a remarkable mark.
