It is that time of the year when Bengaluru, the Garden City of India, is covered with stunning pink flowers. Multiple pictures and videos of soaring trees decorated with pink blossoms have been shared on the internet. One such video that has gone viral captures the aerial view of the city decked up with pink flowers.
The clip shared by Raj Mohan, a photographer, on the microblogging site Twitter shows towering trees covered in pink petals. It also shows a train passing through green fields and blooming trees that will definitely leave you mesmerised.
"It's that time of the year when Bengaluru turns pink! #Bengaluru #cherryblossom #IndianRailways," read the caption of the post shared by Mohan.
The trees were planted in Bengaluru as part of establishing a green cover during the British rule and post-Independence period.
Since being shared, the clip has amassed a whopping 100.2k views, 1,645 likes and several comments.

"These are non native trees, tablueia rosia they are native of South American continent. We shluld plant more native trees like yellow rain tree or Indian myrtle tree. Native trees support out native insects and birds in better way, one user suggested.
