US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti is fond of Indian culture, food and tradition. We have seen him share a few videos of himself on the internet, enjoying Indian delicacies at popular eating joints. He was recently spotted visiting Durga Puja pandals in Delhi's Chitaranjan Park. Now the US envoy to India was seen dancing to hit Bollywood numbers at the US embassy in New Delhi.


In the video shared on microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, by user Satnam Singh Sandhu, the founder chancellor of Chandigarh University, Garcetti wearing blue kurta and a pair of shades is dancing on the popular Bollywood hit track 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' during a Diwali celebration event at the embassy. As he performs the audience claps and cheers for him.






The song from the film Dil Se came out in 1998, and featured Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora dancing on top of a train.

Recently the US envoy to India visited some Durga Puja pandals in Delhi's Chitaranjan Park area.


In the clip, Garcetti accompanied by some people can be seen visiting pandals and doing a few traditional dance steps along with women participants, to the beats of dhak. He then watches children perform on stage and also clicks photos with them. From there he moves on to relish some traditional Indian dishes. A man can be seen explaining him about all the food items he tries.
