A similar incident was reported in October last year in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli. A giant python was seen sitting in the engine of a public school bus parked at the stands.
Here too, rope-and-sack technique was used to rescue the snake from the bus. According to forest department officials, the python was a little over 11 feet in length and weighed about 80 kg.
