In a bizarre incident reported from a primary school at Gokulpur in the Dhanipur area of UP's Aligarh district, a principal was found sleeping in a classroom while students were seen fanning her. A video of the incident went viral on social media, leading to public outrage and the principal's suspension.
The video shows the principal sleeping on a mat on the classroom floor, with several students standing beside her, waving handheld fans to keep her cool. The clip also shows different girls sitting beside the principal and fanning her.
According to a report in India Today, in response to the widespread condemnation on social media, including from the student's parents, Basic Education Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh stated that the matter would be investigated, and strict action would be taken.

The viral video of UP's primary school in which students were found giving fanned to her, attracted responses from the netizens widely over social media. "Madam was not well... she fell unconscious and then some stupid unemployed person made a video," a netizen wrote.
The second user wrote, "Just by looking at her it seems that madam is in some pain, otherwise she would not do this work with such small children."
The third user mentioned, "There are Shiksha Mitras better than these teachers who despite getting a salary of only Rs. 10,000, teach children better than these teachers. The government should get the work done by appointing them on contract. The government pays them a lot of salary and that is why such people do not teach anything to the children."
"There should definitely be action taken against them, they should be dismissed with immediate effect. This kind of mischief is being played with these small children, it is totally wrong, " the fourth netizen wrote.
And, another netizen said, "Jyadatar frustated berojgar is post par apni kewal frustration aur कुंठा nikal rhe hai. In mahila ki tabiyat bhi kharab ho sakti h. Ap sabke ghar me mata bahen h. Garmi me jane kitne chale gye heat stroke se. Poori bar malum kiye bina bss kuch b likhne ko de do."
