Mexican TV Goes Nuts, Airs Man's Testicles During Solar Eclipse Coverage

A man submitted the prank footage which was broadcast on the Mexican television news channel.

A Mexican news outlet's coverage of the solar eclipse has gone viral for all the wrong reasons after a prank footage was submitted to the television news channel of the recent total solar eclipse. 

RCG Media's 24/7 news program was covering the eclipse showcasing viewers' home footage of the celestial event in a segment when it played out the prank footage broadcasting a video of man's testicles. 

As the male presenter listed the cities from where the eclipse could be witnesses, the left side of the screen cut to a man blocking out the sun with his genitals. 

The incident might have occured after the channel's vetting team failed to notice the submission but the netizens were quick at their task and dubbed the incident as "testicular eclipse" in social media. 

One of the two female presenters audubly gasped following the footage and the clip was quickly taken off the screen. 

In a damage control bid, the male presenter explained that the clips were submitted by the viewers admitting that the fervour to include viewers' experience can lead to embarassing situations for the broadcasters. 

Apparently taking credit for the stunt, one social media user wrote on X: "Greetings to all my people in Saltillo who had to see my b***s on television because of the people at @rcg_media who didn’t properly review the video of the eclipse. I love them.”

According to a report by Independent, it is unconfirmed whtether the user was responsible for the clip, or whether the footage was recycled from previous pranks, though they previously posted the clip before it was broadcast live. 

“The #Eclipse2024 has ended and I want to share footage that was humbly captured with my phone. Opinions?” the user wrote.
