Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover never fails to create a buzz on the internet. Be it as a judge of the show, or on social media, which is filled with hilarious memes of his iconic dialogues, Grover has gained wide popularity. Recently, a video of Grover's lookalike performing kirtan at the Iskcon temple in Vrindavan went viral. The video was shared by the BharatPe co-founder along with a witty tweet.
The person in the video bears a striking resemblance to the entrepreneur and is seen clapping his hands in excitement and swaying to the song "Hare Krishna" as it plays in the backgrond. Not only does he have similar facial features, but he is also seen wearing spectacles like Grover.
Initially netizens thought him to be Grover himself, but the entrepreneur, in a tweet, clarified that it was his doppelganger. Grover said that his doppelganger was as devoted to kirtan as he was to his business.
"Hey Doppelganger! Bhai itne maze se kirtan kar raha hai jitna maza mujhe dhandhe mein aata hai. Super fun," Grover tweeted.
The video was originally shared by Instagram user Kartik Tyagi, with the caption "Ashneer Grover, nice seeing you" along with several laughing emojis.
The video amassed more than 1.45 lakh views on Twitter and drew an avalanche of comments from netizens.
"Him praying for his new startup," an Instagram user commented. Someone else described him as "Ashneer Grover lite."
One of the users commented that if Ashneer was a Gujarati, then this video would have made sense.
A person highlighted how deeply devoted Grover’s doppelganger was. "Positivity literally coming out of the video," her comment read.
Grover appeared on the popular reality show Shark Tank India as one of the seven sharks. Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, and Ghazal Alagh were also on the panel.
Meanwhile, Grover captured the attention of netizens earlier this week with an Instagram post in which netizens compared his outfit to that of actor Ranveer Singh. Grover was having a great time in sunny California this summer. In the photo, he is seen in a tee, shorts, and oversized red sneakers. "Back to my favorite summer place - California! L Let's shake things up a little," he had said in the caption.
