New Delhi: There was a stir in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli when a giant python was seen sitting in the engine of a Ryan Public School bus, as reported by news agency IANS. According to the reports, the python was hiding under the seat of the bus of Ryan Public School, parked at the stands.


Meanwhile, Circle Officer (CO) City Vandana Singh and City Magistrate Pallavi Mishra reached the spot and the forest department were informed. The forest department team reached the spot and rescued the python. 


In a video going viral on the internet, an official can be seen pulling out the python from the bottom of the school bus. According to Forest Department officials, the weight of the python is about 80 kg and its length is 11 and a half feet.



The incident happened at 10 am at Ryan International School operating in Industrial Area Police Station area. When a school employee noticed some part of the python hanging under the engine of the bus. Within minutes, the news of a python in the school bus spread.

Thankfully, the school was closed as it was a Sunday, so there was no loss of life due to the presence of a python in the bus.


According to reports, the school bus was parked in the driver's village. Some goats were grazing next to the bus and probably the snake must have come towards the bus to take those goats and then hid in the bus after hearing the people. 


The video of the python being pulled out of the bus by the forest department officials is also becoming very viral on social media. In the video, an officer can be seen dragging a python from under the school bus.
