A three-minute-long porn clip was played on all the TV screens installed across ten platforms at Patna railway station on Sunday night. The incident left hundreds of passengers waiting to board the trains in a very awkward situation, reported news agency IANS.


The contract of telecasting videos and films on TV screens at railway stations of Danapur division is given to a private company Dutta Communication. Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials immediately contacted them and stopped the telecast.


The agency has already been put under the category of blacklisted companies by the Railways.


Confirming the incident, the official spokesperson of the DRM office in Danapur Prabhat Kumar said, “We have initiated an inquiry into the incident and started the process of cancellation of the contract."


He also said, “We have registered an FIR against the company officials.It is an intolerable incident. We will blacklist this company."


A similar incident had taken place on Sunday morning at the same railway station in Patna.


This occurrence has caused serious trouble for Railways’ officials at the station.


Many passengers had recorded the visuals on their mobile phones when the clip was playing on screens. The videos have gone viral on social media.


Although the clip played for three minutes, people on social media started tagging Bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar in the viral post.


Several people on the platforms protested and lodged complaints with officials, reported NDTV.


Twitter users started sharing comments on the incident. One of the users said, "Railway Station just got a new attraction: 50 Shades of Railways"






Another user identified as Abhijeet Singh said, "Just saw Patna Junction  trending and thought it may be good news about the railway redevelopment project."
