Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to the microblogging site Twitter to share a video of a young Punjabi singer singing 'Kesariya' from the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra in five different languages. The video was also shared by industrialist Anand Mahindra.


The Mumbai based singer Identified as Snehdeep Singh Kalsi performed the song in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. It was not only the heart-melting voice that impressed the internet but also the accent of each language that Kalsi sang the song in was spot on.


Sharing the video on Friday the PM wrote, "Came across this amazing rendition by the talented @SnehdeepSK. In addition to the melody, it is a great manifestation of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’ Superb!"






Since being shared by the Prime Minister, the video has amassed 2.7 million views, 72.5k likes and several comments and retweets.
