There are a variety of animals that we love to keep as pets. Along with dogs and cats some love to keep reptiles like snakes as pets. And if you are someone fond of snakes, you should watch this video with a little caution. In a clip that has gone viral on the internet, an owner of a pet snake got bitten by it as she tried to take out the reptile from the cage.
In the video that is over one minute long and is shared on Twitter by Daily Loud, a woman is seen trying to remove the lid of the cage as the reptile hisses at her. In a few seconds the snake bites her hand and wraps itself around the the woman's shoulder.
After being bit by the snake the woman is in extreme pain and tries to put the reptile back in the cage but fails. A man in the room rushes to help her but the giant reptile continues to hug the woman's hand. He then goes to get a snake hook to remove the reptile but the woman is seen bleeding from her hand already.
The video garnered over 8 million views after being shared on the microblogging site. Netizens were horrified after watching it
On of the Twitter user wrote, "That’s why I don’t like exotic pets, so unpredictable."
Another user had almost the same reaction, "I will never understand why people get those things as pets."
